I am a former rodeo cowboy; I competed for 8 years on the IPRA circuit. (I finished 9th in the world in IPRA Bareback Bronc Riding- 1997; 15th in world in 1998.). The LORD plucked me from the fires of hell after He saved me from a horrific rodeo crash (July 4th, 1992.) I have never been the same since! The LORD saved me from: drunkenness, sexual immorality, cursing, lying, stealing, & idolatry. . .just to name a few sins; for Christ came to save His people FROM THEIR SINS (Matt 1:21). I am married to Tina. We have three lovely children: Gracie, John-Winston, & Isaac Gill. We are expecting our fourth child in March of 2007. I received my Theological education at Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute (2001) in Hendersonville, NC. I have written for the Biblical Recorder (SS Commentary- Summer & Fall 2005). I love to write! I am the senior (only) pastor of Sand Hill Baptist Church in Kershaw, SC. I began my duties in February 2006.
